| Back on HF After a Month: A QSO with C5R in The Gambia (October 5, 2026) | ||

Lately, I have spent most of my time developing SatBox and operating via satellite, so this was my first time back on HF in about a month. I switched on my FTDX3000 and started operating FT8 on the 14 MHz band when I spotted C5R in The Gambia. Many stations in Japan were calling, and I joined them. After about five minutes, I received a reply and completed the QSO.

C5R is the second station I have worked in The Gambia, following my QSO with C57UJU on August 29, 2025.
My QSO with C57UJU has not yet been confirmed via LoTW.  |
