FreeDV Part1 installation
 refusal
After installing FreeDV, I was finally able to make an intra-shack QSO!
However, no communication with DX has been established at this time.
I cannot hear any signal at all on any of the bands.

Especially 7MHz and 14MHz, which are listed a lot, are affected by strong solar radiation during the daytime.
It is completely unusable because ionization in the D layer becomes active and low frequency radio waves are absorbed during the day.
JH0VEQ Matsui emailed me and gave me a lot of advice!
The mode of the radio was to remain in SSB instead of using DATA

Select [Tools]-[Options] for settings
Select Frequency/Mode Control Options in [Options]-[Rig Control].
Enable frequency changes onlySelect
This prevents it from going into DATA mode
The FTDX3000 isMENU103 MODE SSB SSB MIC SEL.FRONT to USBSwitch to
However, it must be returned to FRONT when ONAIR is made by SSB with a microphone.
JTDX and WSJTX seem to switch well in this area with CAT control!
I hope it will be improved!
In FT-891MENU 11-05 MODE SSB SSB MIC SELECTindicates object of desire, like, hate, etc.REARSwitch to
Until now, the mode was switched to DATA on its own and QSOs in the shack were not possible.
With the above settings, I was able to make a 2-way QSO in the shack.
One setting in Easy Setup was incorrect.
The audio device is not USB at JTDX, but the computer'sSpeakers and microphonesSelect

If you are playing FT8, you can enter almost all of these settings and you're good to go!
However, only the microphone array will choose a headset or other device instead of USB.
In my case, I connected it to a FTDX3000.
FTDX3000 and ThinkPad X390 are connected via USB cable
Setup 1: Select Sound Device
Radio Device USB Audio CODEC
Decoded audio plays back through Speaker (USB Aufio CODEC)
Speakers (Realtek(R)Audio)
Transmitted audio records through Microphone array (Realtek(R)Audio)
Setup 2: Setup Radio Control
Hamlib CAT Control
Rig Model FTDX3000
Serial Device COM8
Serial Rate 38400
PTT uses CAT

Setup 3: Setup Reporting
Enable Reporting   It is recommended to check this
Callsign JI1FGX For some reason I could not enter /DU9

This is my Spectrun received signal
It is not flat for some reason.
Here is the Spectrun screen that JH0VEQ Matsui sent me via email
It is nicely flattened.
We put out CQs from time to time, so if you can hear us, please call us.
