It's been a long time since I last updated, but the house I was building in Ozamiz City, Mindanao, Philippines, is now complete. At the same time, we purchased 4 hectares of farmland and opened Gigi's shop, so our days were very busy. On June 8th, we held a housewarming party, and it was a huge turnout, with many local people we didn't know coming in.
Today, all the curtains were installed and I took some pictures.
living room From the entrance to the living room and lobby The space where the TV should sit is still open, but due to budgetary constraints we will have to put a TV on hold for the time being. From behind the sofa
Kids Room All the furniture is provided and made by a carpenter and finished by a painter. We created a space for a TV in the kids' room, but Gigi decided not to wire it up. The ceiling decorations in each room are different colors as instructed by Gigi.
Main Bedroom This is based on light colors There is a TV stand here, but due to budgetary constraints we will not be able to put a TV on it for the time being.
Main bedroom toilet Master bedroom bathroom
Guest Rooms I only purchased the furniture on the left, but the built-in furniture is so nice that I might bring it to the farmhouse once it's completed.
And this is my room This is the computer room, radio room, and children's study room. The three sisters' study desks each have benches that can seat four people comfortably. The kids had just come home from school As soon as I get home from school, I start cleaning the house. Power distribution room The house's electrical breaker and the transformer that makes 100V from 230V, In addition, there is a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) that backs up lighting in the event of a power outage. Since the 230V voltage fluctuates greatly, AVRs and other devices that protect air conditioners and refrigerators are lined up.
It's still under construction here...
kitchen There is a ceiling fan installed on the ceiling Only the sliding doors and glass for the kitchen cupboards are missing yet.
This is a photo of the whole house from the parking lot. By the way, we decided not to paint the exterior walls of the house and the walls surrounding it this time due to lack of budget. Once the budget is ready, the next stage of construction will begin. This is a very common practice in the Philippines. It seems amazing that you managed to complete this all at once.
