JI1FGX/DU9 Mindanao Diary Going to Cagayan NTC(2009/03/02) Cavalier Lily Diary
I went from Ozamiz to the NTC (National Telecommunications Commission) in Cagayan. My goal is to get an amateur radio license in the Philippines.
The ferry took 15 minutes with Subrabas driving, and then we continued driving for 3 hours.
We continue driving along the coast. This is Lanao, an area where guerrillas are active. "The mountain on the right is where MILF guerrillas are rampaging." But the scenery is peaceful and tranquil.
But there are checkpoints everywhere. But now it is peaceful and I have not been stopped at any checkpoints. However, they explained that "during the 2002 war, a bomb exploded here, killing several people and destroying the bridge." (This is not the checkpoint in the photo.)
Our destination this time is the NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION It's like the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in Japan.
And my purpose is to apply for the procedure to be able to be on air in the Philippines with my amateur radio license in Japan. Thanks to Subrabas and GigiProbably not."We were given permission to go on air. The call sign isJI1FGX/DU9
